CQU WIL Placement Office will be closed from 24th December 2025, returning 5th January 2026 at limited capacity. The team will be available at full capacity from the 15th January 2026. Your patience during this time of closure and annual leave for many WIL staff is warmly appreciated. Please ensure all mandatory documents, checks and queries are provided before these dates. All queries received during the closure period will be responded to upon the team’s return in 2026. Mandatory checks (including renewal of documents for subsequent placements) need to be completed at least 6 WEEKS prior to your commencement date for placement. 

Extension requests to supply mandatory checks after this date will need to be submitted via email to wil-hmas@cqu.edu.au 
 
Extensions for mandatory checks will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
