A Note on Changes to Varicella
Queensland Health has recently introduced changes to the requirements for students to demonstrate immunity to Varicella. Previously, immunity could be demonstrated through either a positive serology result or evidence of childhood vaccination or two doses of the Varicella vaccine. Under the updated requirements, students must now provide documented evidence of immunity either through serological testing or by providing evidence of two doses of the Varicella vaccine.
