Mandatory Checks 2026

Influenza Vaccination Requirements — 2026 Onwards - New

Please note that students will only need the current year’s influenza vaccination if they meet one of the following conditions:

·       Study abroad travel:  Students travelling overseas on a CQUniversity study abroad trip before or during Term 1 (e.g., the Thailand trip).

·       Site requirement:  A placement site specifically requests the flu vaccine for ESSC13008 (Term 1) or ESSC13009 (Term 2). If required, it will be added to your Mandatory Checks by the WIL Officer.

·       Enrolment in ESSC13005:  All students enrolled in this unit must submit evidence of the current year's influenza vaccination by the Term 2 Mandatory Checks due date (5 June 2026). This requirement will be added to all students’ enrolled in ESSC13005 Term 2 by the WIL Officer around 15 May 2026 (approximately three weeks before the Term 2 due date for Mandatories).

ESSC13008 - Advanced Exercise Prescription and Delivery - Due date is 13 March 2026

Term 2

ESSC13009 - Professional Practice in Exercise and Sports Science - Maintain/update your mandatory checks - due date is 5 June 2026 2026
ESSC13005 - Advanced Clinical Exercise Science - Maintain/update your mandatory checks - due date is 5 June 2026 2026

NOMINATION FORMS 
Student can add the form in your FORMS Tab in Sonia, complete the form, then submit

•  ESSC13008 - Term 1 2025 - due Census Date - 1 April 2025

•  ESSC13009/ESSC13005 - Term 2 2025 - (ESSC13005 Supervisors must be with an AEP) - due Week 7 of Term 1 - Friday, 2 May 2025
